Disagreement with cops =/= hating them.

Who are you kidding?

You started this thread because you have an ax to grind with the cops and you love stories like this because it pushes your narrative.

Oh okay, I thought the cop would have probably just followed him to see where he was going and then once he got into is building, he would be more safe and sound for the time being. I didn't think a cop would shoot when they could easily walk after him as oppose to a running chase.

I kept wishing the man would pull out his cell phone, call 911, and report that a man pretending to be a law enforcement officer was harassing him while was picking up trash outside his own home.

The date on the the video is March 1, 2019. It doesn’t matter what day some guy uploaded it to YouTube.

In my almost 50 years of life I have known, met, and had dealings with many cops. Dozens if not more. Only one of those was a jerk, he was having a PTSD moment or something, but I yessir'd and nosir'd my way to a calm solution and he went about his life.

Most cops do cop work because they want to be public servants and to help others in their worst times, don't ever forget that.

It was 100% a power struggle by the cop. Ego driven. I usually err on the side of officers but kept thinking he needed to stop doubling down on stupid.

BTW, the cop did rightfully resign.

Cop would have shot claiming he thought the phone was a gun. It has happened before.
