Why do you feel the need to insult people who do not hold your worldview? What in his post suggested he lives in an "empty studio apartment", may I inquire?

Let's look at real life cases, the State of Arizona (or Nevada, or insert "State with Open Carry" here) have wild shoot outs? A minor auto fender-bender ended up in wild shoot outs? Is Arizona (or Nevada) has a higher gun crime rate than LA?

It’s a concept called “individual responsibility” that I am responsible for my own safety & welfare.

Look it up. Stop relying on government (police) to protect you & solve your personal problems.
Locking my door has nothing to do with feeling the need to carry a gun everywhere you go. And I don't rely on anyone to protect me, the difference between you and I seems to be that I am careful about where I go and don't put myself in situations where I have to rely upon using a gun to get out alive.

You're libertarianing (or trolling, kinda hard to tell at this point) wrong.

You probably grew up in a safe neighborhood and the idea of being aware has never enter into your mind. Sorry to say, guys like you are like sheep waiting to be slaughtered in a bad neighborhood. Your body language is like a neo sign flashing the word "VICTIM" all over the street.

Nothing can replace a mental awareness of where you are and your surroundings! Do not be like the fools who walk with their eyes glued to there phones! Be aware of your surroundings and those who approach you. Gun is always the last resort in protecting yourself. Sometime it's enough just to show you're armed but always be prepared to "stop" your adversaries.

This comment comes from a person who obviously let his imagination gets a better of him. You should read my prior post above, the fact that you have a gun does not instantly transform you to a demon-possessed maniac. What's stopping the same guy from physically assaulting you under the same circumstance without a gun? Use your brain, do not fear-monger.

There, I corrected your fixes. You need to experience gun culture and stop letting the paranoia and your imagination run wild. Be an informed citizen, not a scary-cat like the Liberals want you to be.
Oh good grief. Get yourself a big dog and drop the adolescent fantasies before you shoot your pecker off like this guy did:

Somehow these gun threads always remind me of Erectile Dysfunction prescription advertising:

Interesting you're bringing this up.

Houston, TX; Dallas-Ft.Worth, TX and Las Vegas, NV -- all -- have much worse gun crime rate than Los Angeles.

If you so much as flash a gun just to scare someone the cops are going to be all over you like a rash.

Its very interesting that law enforcement is totally against permitless conceal carry, or open carry...that should be a big red flag to everyone!!!

They are supposed to be protecting our rights, but they are against one the most important? Im not sure how they can explain that?!

I believe this is a hot issue, but it's something that every citizen in America is guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution. How can a city like L.A. not issue permits for something as guaranteed as the air we breathe? According to the L.A. County Sheriff, they say they "may issue" for "good cause"....well how do we subjectively define good cause? It should be objective as 2A guarantees citizens their right to firearms.

Hopefully the US Supreme Court will have a final ruling on this someday, as it is headed there. It stands a good chance that with Trumps lifelong judge appointments to the USSC, that the ruling will someday say all residents of L.A. and SoCal can open carry.
""States would be able to ban concealed carry"

Why do you have to get a PERMIT to exercise your rights under the 2mdamendnent?

Let's make LA violent again like to good old days of the '50's....as in the 1850's when LA was a bloodbath:

"There is no country where nature is more lavish of her exuberant fullness; and yet, with all our natural beauties and advantages, there is no country where human life is of so little account. Men hack one another to pieces with pistols and other cutlery as if God's image were of no more worth than the life of one of the two or three thousand ownerless dogs that prowl about our streets and make night hideous."
- The Los Angeles Star, 1853

"With a Supreme Court bought and paid for by the gun lobbY'

And you NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WHEN DEM had the majority on the court and who paid for their campaigns.

I wonder WHY!
