She's scheduled to be the keynote speaker at a meeting of CAIR, a prominent Muslim political group that has associations with HAMAS supporters and has a strong interest in seeing Palestine formed, and, among its more radical members at least, the destruction of Israel. I'm thinking since she condemns the Jewish group AIPAC (and questions whether its supporters are loyal to America), it's hypocritical of her to raise funds for this Muslim group.
And I'm not being anti-Muslim, oh no. I just hate CAIR and its link to the Muslim Brotherhood and HAMAS sympathizers. A Member of Congress shouldn't associate with such a group.

If cair distances themselves from ilhan Omar, than it would be wise for Omar to not show up. And remember groups like cair and aipac do work together on issues. I do agree with speak truth to power, but right now so many Americans of afluential and influence levels are a bunch of snowflakes. Context and optics matter, but not anymore.

I don't see that CAIR is distancing themselves. She's scheduled as the key note speaker later this month at one of their big meetings.
It's just hypocritical for her to condemn a Jewish political group (quite strongly, suggesting its Jewish supporters may be disloyal to America) and then do her part to raise funds for the most prominent Muslim group.

She should give it up ONLY if they make Trump not speak to Liberty University, C-PAC any southern state audience or the Klan.
I'm hoping she gives many speeches to groups like this over the next 2 years.
