Maybe not......
https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...law-case-weak/ If you look at eight months that were shaped by a true before-and-after comparison, tax collections went down in seven of those months, and collectively, revenues fell by about $61 billion.
https://www.crfb.org/blogs/tax-bill-...e-revenue-rise A simpler way to look at revenues for just the tax year would be months after the April 15th deadline for most filers to pay taxes for the previous year. Revenues from May through September have fallen by 4.7 percent in nominal terms.

SPENDING is the problem.
Congress is not interested in spending less money.
That's not true at all, tax revenue is down for 2018 compared to 2017 in one of the hottest economies on record. January 2019 also saw a large decrease in revenue.

WASHINGTON—Federal tax revenue declined 0.4% in 2018, the first full calendar year under the new tax law, despite robust economic growth and the lowest unemployment rate in nearly five decades.

Your tax revenue statement is not accurate. BUT yes spending has not been dealt with at all.
I will say -- given Trump's quick action to bring in the new Air Force One cheaper, etc...I thought he would be better with presenting a more conservative budget. I thought this would be something he could/would do.....a more conservative budget.

Interesting. So revenues declined $61B. Must be due to corporate cuts, because lot of individuals are forced to pay a lot more taxes now.

Doesn't seem so.
Given the BS that N Korea is no longer a nuclear threat I have to wonder if a cheaper Air Force One is actually a done deal or just more self-aggrandizing spin?
WHY should he? It IS conservatives after all who claim they favor LESS government spending even though they never seem able to put their claims into practice, Trump's desire to give the DoD MORE than they ask for being a perfect example. Or is he perhaps just trying to hide some $$$ in the Pentagon that he can poifer when he attempts more end-runs around Congress with some made-up 'emergency'?
I thought liberals supported expanded government. You guys should be celebrating.
