Completely different, this was paying a bribe to silence a mistress, I think the voters would have liked to know more about his girlfriends.
Why? All that matters is the campaign finance violations. They both had them. The stories surrounding them may be salacious and entertaining, but they dont change the actual violation.
Voters may have liked to know more, but paying for her silence, in and of itself, is not illegal. And everyone already knew the kind of guy Trump was, before the election. So what do you think that would have changed?

You obviously don't know the difference between an impeachment inquiry and and actual impeachment....
