Put in another way, most Americans think he is unfit...they just differ on the exactly solution and timing.

That's really the important metric here.
If Trump is unfit, then what is Obama?
In 2010, Obama lost 63 House seats and 6 senate seats, and he also lost the House and Senate in 2014....
Trump already increased majority in the Senate, and Republicans won almost everywhere Trump held rallies, proving that his influence is the same now as it was in 2016.
Trump holds rallies and wins seats.
And the only House seat Trump held a rally for was Kentucky - and it led to victory.

It’s March 2019, and the 2020 presidential campaign is already spooling up. The Democrats’ strategy is to keep hammering home the message that Trump is corrupt and let the voters show him the door. It’s the only way he and his administration will go without tearing our nation apart and/or leaving Pence pulling up a chair to the Resolute Desk. Pelosi is right to hold back on impeachment regardless of what the investigation turns up. It’s the better way to hold the country together as Trump tries his best to tear us apart. She’s an astute woman and a far better politician that Trump will ever be.

...Yes, you are....

That is the definition of “status quo”.

HAHAHAHAHAHA...

"can we compare him to hitler five times a day?"

"yes madam leader, we can and ought to"

"can we compare everyone who voted for him to white supremacists?"

"sure madam leader, i dont know why not..."

"can we invent a race of people that are orange and then say that constantly commenting on his skin colour as though it is relevant is somehow not racist?"

"of course madam leader, after all, its never racist when the race youre judging collectively is privileged, we made certain of that"

"can we impeach him though?"

"perhaps that would be a bit too divisive, madam leader-- i mean with all due respect, shouldnt we consider drawing the line somewhere?"

yeah, thats what happened!

all for impeachment for actual impeachable offenses, on all sides. impeach everybody.

just be sure youve got enough reason to do it, and its not just a petty way of insisting your vote is more important than "the people" who elected them.

i think what pelosi actually meant was "weve got nothing, maybe theres a way we can find something else to do thats less pointless, while sounding like we didnt just spend two years wasting everyones time and money on bull**** and lying to both sides of the aisle, including ours."

very diplomatically phrased, ms. pelosi, good job!

But not being status quo was a good thing, yes? But AOC not being status quo is a bad thing. Again, got it.

Pelosi's House charade will be a laughing stock, once Mueller's report fails to indict Trump.....game over for Russiagate, and do you really think anyone will believe Pelosi after that?
The more Pelosi investigates, the more she helps Trump.

Reality: Nancy & her gang have got the word on the Mueller hoax, so it's time to move on from the impeachment fantasy.

I think you are still confused. Status quo can be good or bad. It is a relative term.

Not being the status quo is a good thing if you dont like the way things currently are being done.

Not being status quo is a bad thing if you do like the way things are currently being done. Or if the new alternative is worse.

I think Pelosi’s strategy is the right one for the health of the nation. That’s my major concern, not continuing to beat the Russiagate drum. Trump’s incompetence is far more dangerous than anything he may or may not have done in collaboration with Putin’s regime. And, yes, I do think Speaker Pelosi will survive the Trump administration intact. She is one perspicacious politician, and the House demonstrated great wisdom in giving her back the gavel.
