What I’m getting from this is that successful countries steal money from people to pay for other people’s childcare.

Another millennial expecting everyone else to take care of him or her from cradle to grave.

Yeah, the country is failing. Especially the education system and the media.

it depends on how you define "earn" the truly wealthy have always made the "rules"..in today's world in the US we have one third of the GDP from the financial sector...so people involved in paper shuffling "earn" a high amount while they "produce"
nothing...in fact people shuffling paper are able shuffle much paper around thousands of time better than others...and confuse "real wealth" "value" and just "wealth" to confound ordinary people

why discriminate...tax everyone, yes EVERYONE at the same rate

taxes should not be discriminatory

nearly 51% of all income is not reported... eliminate the "income" tax, and go to a consumption tax..tax EVERYONE fairly and equally.. a national sales tax, that EVERYONE has skin in the game

did you know that the wealth gap is growing in nearly every first world nation, including some of the most "socially conscience" nations like Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Finland, France, etc

And the very minute Leftists are held to account and told they have to pay their fair share, they sue someone to get out of it.

In theory, I agree with you. However, with regards to healthcare, many simply can't afford what they want or need, hence the problem.

Unless you think being able to live should require an upper-middle class income or higher, the private healthcare industry needs some regulatory involvement and subsidization to keep costs affordable for everyone. This is not a luxury expense like buying a cell phone or car... everyone needs it.

the problem is insurance (both private and governmental ) and the fact that the government took insurance and turned it into pay for everything

think about this... when you car needs a tune-up, or an oil change, or new tires...do you call your auto insurance company??? no, why?, because insurance is about having coverage for catastrophic damage to what you have insurance on, not paying for every sniffle or hiccup
