Crickets from most of the Republicans. They never criticize their own crazies.

It would be socialism if the government took over the failing plants and operated them, but that does not seem to be the case. This is corrupt/fascist, but not socialist.

Republicans LOVE socialism but only when it takes money from some other vague group that they don't identify with... ie minorities and liberals

Right wingers project themselves all the time, almost anytime a rethug attacks the left, just take what they say and flip it around... almost every time it fits them much much better.

Fake news?
think Fox News, infowars, Drudge report etc... for decades the rightwing has LOVED fake made up news that makes them "feel good"..

socialism.??.. Think older white guys getting SS checks, medicare , defined pensions, massive tax breaks... that is socialism at work..

violent left wing?
Think of the US terrorism database...74% of all domestic terrorism in the last decade was from the right wing and 24% from islamic americans with the remaining few % from everyone else.. (left +others) and of course members of the right currently threatening civil war if Trump is impeached...

Hillary and charity fraud... None ever found at Hillary's charity, Trump's forced to shut down due to fraud.

the list goes on, pick almost ANY right wing talking point or insult and you find it is based in the ring wings mantra of attack your enemies where you are weakest.....

Perhaps the coal plants would be more profitable if leftist WA, OR, and CA weren't blocking ports for international shipping.

^^this.

The analyst, perhaps a product of our socialist education system, does not seem to know the definition of 'socialism.'

This is closer to fascism/corporatism than socialism. A poor policy in either case.

Then I guess government paying for healthcare in facilities it hasn't taken over/run isn't the SOCIALISM! the right constantly whines about either.

The people living in the States mentioned will also be footing the cost to keep the plants open.

The GOP use other peoples money never the corporation's.
