I'm not denying anything, nor am I defending the basket case. His manifesto states that his intention was to cause strife. It is entirely possible that his racist ramblings were nothing but a further attempt to do so. It is also possible that he actually is a racist. We don't actually know. All we know for sure about him is that he's crazy.

Seriously, all b.s. aside, I think we can ALL agree that the new "law" or whatever "law" are designed to control law abiding citizens. Let's just cut to the chase, you give me all the weapons in the world, you won't turn me into the next mass shooter. It just simply wont happen. LOL Criminals can get their hands on them, and that’s why we need to have our own semiautomatic ARs. Criminals don’t care for laws. Why, in the name of God, would we let criminals have better guns than us? Let's stop the emotion talk, just answer some simple question.

Plus, We have a decade of data that shows it didn’t do anything to lessen burglary, homicide, or any kind of crime. That’s because rifles including “assault rifles” are not used in crimes or homicides very often.

Whether it be an “assault weapon”, a side-by-side shotgun, a pistol, bombs, or even a knife, 20 minutes to 3 hours has been the range of time a mass killer has to operate before the police can intervene.

Three hours with no resistance and total control means any kind of ban of a certain kind of firearm would not change the situation in the least
. Consider the Navy Yard shooting that involved a pump-action shotgun with no buttstock in an incredibly secure Federal Government facility. In South Carolina it was a pistol. In Columbine there was no “assault weapon” present. At Virginia Tech two pistols were used.

Come on, people. The AR-15 pattern of rifles actually isn’t the most effective firearm for a mass shooter, they just happen to be the most popular firearm found in gun shops. Modern Sporting Rifles also fall under the semi-automatic category of firearm, which is the most popular mechanism for firearms, including rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Banning one type of semi-automatic firearm and not others makes no sense if you believe banning guns is the way to stop these tragedies (which it isn’t).

There are no assault weapons, only assault humans.

And Angry, yes let’s open a bottle of wine, light some candles and have a 3 hour discussion about how silly people are who don’t know the difference between clips and magazines, and how intellectually superior you are because you do. Vocabulary is so exciting.
This has nothing to do with anything....Read the article

If this is true, your post doesn't help in this discussion

I assume that it's a lie

But you gun huggers want to hide behind hunting, or sport shooting and don’t want to admit that, when a person takes an AR15 into a school or movie theater and mows down innocent people, it is being used EXACTLY how it’s designers intended it to be used. It’s a tool you will now say, yes it is and it’s a tool that does a good job of what it’s built to do.
Don't blame the AR-15 or any other semi-auto rifles for the actions of a few disturbed individuals who chose to use a sporting semi-auto weapon for the wrong reasons, I have an AR-15 along with other semi-auto weapons and if I intended to go into the military, I would prefer to have the full-auto M-16 or other full-auto weapons. I also use my semi-auto weapons for sporting purposes, like competitive matches.

Keep in mind also that even if semi-auto weapons were banned, it would not stop disturbed individuals from doing horrific things and killing innocent people for no reason, we've seen worse acts committed by individuals/groups throughout history and without the use of guns of any kind.

Registration and secure storage of shotguns held on Shotgun Certificates is also required.

Rifles in .22 rimfire are permitted including .22 Rimfire AR-15's, in terms of rifles you need a firearms licence rather than a shotgun licence and a specialist licence in relation to more powerful rifles used to cull deer and other larger species.

Hunting is still popular in the UK, as is sports shooting.

In terms of pistols, British law defines a "pistol" as a firearm with a barrel shorter than 30 cm (12 in) or a total length of less than 60 cm (24 in) (this definition encompasses revolvers, revolving pistols).

Only muzzle-loading pistols—including muzzle-loading revolvers—are permitted; in practice all such firearms use black powder—a Class 1 explosive—as the propellant. Small quantities of muzzle-loading pistols and revolvers in various calibres, which comply with the regulations, are manufactured.

All other pistols are prohibited in Great Britain, with some exceptions such as pistols used for the humane dispatch of injured animals (such as deer) and some historical firearms.
And, your point is?
