if we are going to talk about a subject, any subject, we do need to be more precise with our language to prevent miscommunications. examples;

calling a semi automatic rifle like the AR15 an "assault rifle". it isnt.

calling something like a kitfox aircraft a "home made" aircraft, again it isnt, it is a home built aircraft. and yes there is a difference.

and we are all guilty of a lack of precision with our language.

So, it's your opinion that those who advocate banning something that's a Constitutional right, don't need to know enough about what they want to ban to be factually accurate about the subject?

Interesting..

Not surprising though, as usual coming from the Left, facts aren't relevant to the agenda

Regardless of which side of the fence you're on, this is a great article

Take a few minutes to educate yourself
Facts don't matter to these a-hats. Let's talk emotion and wishful thinking.

You can hunt with guns in most countries, and there are plenty of hunting rifles and shotguns to choose from.

UK Laws prohibit semi-automatic and pump-action centre-fire rifles, military weapons firing explosive ammunition, short shotguns that had magazines, and elevated both pump-action and self-loading rifles.

Registration and secure storage of shotguns held on Shotgun Certificates is also required.

Rifles in .22 rimfire are permitted including .22 Rimfire AR-15's, in terms of rifles you need a firearms licence rather than a shotgun licence and a specialist licence in relation to more powerful rifles used to cull deer and other larger species.

Hunting is still popular in the UK, as is sports shooting.

In terms of pistols, British law defines a "pistol" as a firearm with a barrel shorter than 30 cm (12 in) or a total length of less than 60 cm (24 in) (this definition encompasses revolvers, revolving pistols).

Only muzzle-loading pistols—including muzzle-loading revolvers—are permitted; in practice all such firearms use black powder—a Class 1 explosive—as the propellant. Small quantities of muzzle-loading pistols and revolvers in various calibres, which comply with the regulations, are manufactured.

All other pistols are prohibited in Great Britain, with some exceptions such as pistols used for the humane dispatch of injured animals (such as deer) and some historical firearms.

An assault weapon makes a nobody feel like a somebody. That`s all there is to it.

The term "Assault Weapons" and "Assault Rifle" are made up Democrat, and MEDIA lies to push yet more, ridiculous gun laws that only affect the law abiding citizen, and that is their goal. It is not to disarm criminals but to disarm the law abiding, and make them more dependent on government and more easily controlled.

Obama solved and created problems with word substitution and creative accounting. He lived in a world of theory divorced from reality, so in his world, word substitution was the key to survival.

terrorism = workplace violence

ISIS = JV team

Human caused global warming = climate change

"No not that AQ", the other AQ"

unaffordable health insurance = affordable healthcare

a movie caused the attack = Obama's failed policies caused the embassy attack

no jobs = shovel ready jobs

'the world is a more tranquil place because of Obama's foreign policies' = the world was set on fire by Obama's "policies".

Usually, when you have a conversation....either way, you should know what you are talking about....yet it seems you would rather not...not surprising from an anti-gunner....

Anti-gun people are comfortable with looking like ignorant fools. Which is a good thing, since they are so good at it. They don't want to be educated.
