Marx is just one person, not everything has to revolve around all his specific theories.
In fact he only promoted state ownership as an idea to help minimize exploitation.
It has nothing to do with big government. Today financial institutions run our society as any family/individual that wants to start a business or buy a house needs loans.
And the highly bureaucratic bank keeps you on a tight leash with interest rates. Is that freedom?
Communism is in places like Chiapas were banks are owned by the costumers, large businesses/farms are cooperatives, and local economics are not destroyed from corporate wealth.

The powers that be say planet earth is in danger due in part to overpopulation,so what better way to bring about depopulation than communism with its neccesary policies of famine, death camps, ideological/ class purges, etc.

The IMF uses debt to force structural reforms (privatization), while locally our banks control the consumer, credit limits which they spend with, and as they need a home/property to exist independent from government support, they end off paying down their debt for the rest of their lives.
They survived authoritarian regimes. Soon the USA may be one if we keep going in the direction we’re going.
