I'm still very glad that the investigation happened, just as all Americans should be. If there is legitimate doubt that a President is not a traitor, then it should be investigated. And I'd say that all of the smoking guns surrounding him cast legitimate doubt on his presidency. And of course, it paid for itself, thanks to all of the swamp-dwellers that WERE indicted and sentenced to prison.

"The Special Counsel states that while this report does not conclude that
the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him."

Mueller is simply covering his butt.....legalese

If Mueller had found actionable evidence....Mueller could have charged Trump
..because Mueller passed it on to Barr
Mueller has to cover his butt no matter which way Barr decides

Mueller is saying no matter which way Barr decides.....Mueller didn't pad the evidence either way....and can't have either side go after him later

" this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime".....Barr rules no charges

"it also does not exonerate him".....Barr decides to bring charges

Trump isn't clean.

Hillary sure as hell isn't clean.

Do people believe that because the Feds could only get Al Capone for tax evasion that he was a good guy?

Things would have been so much different if the president was allowed to do his job from day one.
I hope all these left wing college kids learned a lesson...............Crying won't change the outcome.....

tRump is right to take a victory lap after escaping indictment.

But the report certainly doesn't exonerate him, like he claims.

And he's not out of legal jeopardy on a bunch of other issues.

I think the tax cuts was teh only law that was passed without much debate or much blockade. The rich continue to win.

Sounds like a CYA statement to me.... Like you're reserving your right to change your mind or attempting to justify the unjustified.

If you have evidence to charge obstruction then charge it.

If you don't, then pack it in and move on.
It is as much exoneration as can be provided without bringing charges. Law enforcement doesn't bring charges against people that they find didn't do the crime.

Prosecutors, or even judges, can not and do not rule "exoneration" unless charges are brought.

Mueller declined to bring charges but passed the decision as to whether they will be brought to the DOJ. The DOJ declined to press charges. End of story. That's as much so called "exoneration" as people who aren't charged get.

The communists are upset that #theirguy didn't bring charges and are trying to exploit his unfortunate and ridiculous misuse of phrasing to somehow move the choice to file charges for obstruction to the court of public opinion. Moving the choice to the DOJ was Mueller's decision. Which means that Mueller stands behind the DOJs judgement and decision. The decision to not press charges was made, which carries the same exact legal weight as Mueller's founding of "no collusion" with Russia.

1. Charging obstruction will never happen because of the reality of the "exoneration" issue that was with Mueller, was passed to the DOJ, and for which a decision was made.

2. The communists are flirting with a darker road than they just went down. They have conclusively lost with no hope of recovering this. That's not opinion but fact. The media is fully out of credibility to move this spin forward, and any more agitprop on this matter from them or communist congress people is going to make this situation a whole lot worse for no chance of gain whatsoever.

For the sake of the country they need to move on. Sadly, they won't and will get what they deserve as a result.
