maybe because they lied....duh

Rational people do not believe anything that Trump or his minions say.

Even rational Russians roll their eyes at team Trump's lies.

And this is the nonsense of why this were never come to a conclusion.

THis is exactly why they want unredacted reports...explicitly so they can tie in multiple conspiracies and faslehoods and keep this going on forever.

They want to second guess and overturn Mueller's conclusions. Now that the "Russian collusion" allegation bottomed out, they want to stretch the "obstruction of justice" legal definition and pretend that they have an argument.

The bottomline is that Mueller recommended "No New indictments." You can "what about" and make up and add in anything that you like--but you' can't argue against what his final recommendations were and according to his conclusion, there wasn't "obstruction" involved here legally. SO the case is closed.

Good observation. It is notable that the highly disciplined and tight-lipped Mueller team leaked to the press that these summaries designed for public consumption exist. I'd like to see Congress subpoena not just Mueller but some of the prosecutors who helped prepare the report. That'll help expose just how much Barr is covering up.

They did? you mean you still quoting that NYT report from anonymous sources? LMAO!.......Why does the Mueller team have to hide and leak and go over their boss?

why don't they back up their complaints showing their faces and say their names?

Mueller is working with Barr for the public report and some members of Mueller's team are going to backstabbed their boss Mueller to send a message to Barr? LMAO!!!! That makes sense, real ethical and real professionals here.

The Russian conspiracy has not "bottomed out." Far from it.

We have not even seen Mueller's conclusions, so how could anyone second guess what evidence there is about obstruction of justice, additional indictments, final conclusions, ... ?

Republicans were able to keep Jaworski's report under wraps for decades. Nixon was still forced to resign or face impeachment four months after Congress got their hands on it.

I seriously doubt Trump, the Republicans, and the Russians will be able to keep Mueller's report under wraps anywhere near that long.

This campaign of pretending that Barr has said it and that settles it is ridiculous.

If Barr is telling the truth, then back it up with the actual report. Otherwise, team Trump is just whistling in the wind.

He should have done screened the report period, there was no need for the Barr summary before releasing the report, he sounds political. What exactly was the point if his memo other than creating more confusion.

Tell me, what was the point in firing Sessions and hiring Barr.

He needed to release something since everyone was waiting for an 'initial' conclusion. You think if he would have sat on it while writing the summary the media and dems would go nuts? On Monday they would have subpoenaed him.

One way or another we will get to the truth. Trump so far has been lucky and has had a lot of people, including his own party, protecting him by suppression and obstruction. If it turns out that yes- Barr prevented pertinent information that paints a different story than he initially released then he should be tried for obstruction of justice.

Couple of things.

1. Do you understand how a special counsel works? How Grand Jury work? It's impossible the release the entire report without jeopardizing sources and grand jury procedures, and it's also illegal. The argument that the judiciary committee should see it? You know as well as I do that everything that is even borderline dubious will be leaked. The report is being worked on by Mueller, Barr and Rosenstein. They will release as much as possible.
2. Trump is lucky? Let me ask you: how luck is Hillary Clinton she got away with everything? It's called politics. Besides, I don't think Trump obstructed justice. First of all, there's no underlying crime so what's there to obstruct? Secondly, firing Comey is within his constitutional right as POTUS.

Barr has no excuse not to release the Mueller summaries to the public. He also should have released it to the Gang of 8 by now. Barr and Rosenstein aren't the only ones with security clearance to see it. The Head of FBI said he hasn't even seen it. Barr has a history of cover-up besides his memo to audition for the job.
