Same old, same old. The liberal media shows its bias as much by what it doesn't say, as by what it does.

Fortunately, more and more normal Americans are getting their info from outlets that research and report the news, and fewer from outlets that try to hide it.

Probably the most beneficial thing the Republicans have done so far, led by President Trump, is to point out again and again just how fake the Fake News is. Once the Democrats lose the cover of its sycophantic press, their real agenda and tactics will be exposed. Which is the LAST thing the Democrats want.

Nets Disregard Dem Staffer Denied Bond for Doxxing GOP Senators

By Nicholas Fondacaro | October 9, 2018 9:17 PM EDT

In the midst of the Kavanaugh show trial with the Senate Judiciary Committee back on September 27, longtime Democratic staffer Jackson Cosko released personal information (including the home addresses) for Republican members of the committee. This act of “doxxing” went all but ignored by the liberal media for almost two weeks. On Tuesday, a judge denied him bail and the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) continued their total blackout.

Where the liberal broadcast networks failed, Fox News Channel’s Special Report anchor Bret Baier filled in the gaps:

A former staff member for Democratic Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee is still in jail tonight. Bail was denied this afternoon for Jackson Cosko. He’s accused of committing several felonies including the release of personal information about Republican Senators on the internet. He's also accused of threatening a witness, unlawfully accessing a government computer, and burglary of a senatorial office. He has pleaded ‘not guilty’.

Their complete blackout of this case had kept their viewers in the dark about this serious breach of the law. Their refusal to cover the doxxing last week meant their audience was unaware that Cosko also threatened to release the health information of the GOP lawmakers’ children.

Didn't the Watergate burglars do most of that too?

What's the penalty for this stuff?

They probably didn't report the crime in the first place so didn't want to confuse their zombie audience by saying this joker was denied bail.

You have it backwards...they were looking to stop the leaks and the extortionate threats that were coming out of the Nixon administration, which were done by people in the employ of the DNC.

So they were looking for stolen information, and proof of who had stolen it.

this would have been huge if it had been pinned on a conservative staffer. we'd never hear the end of it.

Indeed.

This guy threatened to post information about the various senators children's health. They got to him before it happened. It would have been DEFCON 1 on CNN, NYT, the broadcast media, and WaPo.

Instead it's silence because a democrat did it against Trump.

Staffer who 'doxed' GOP senators faces nearly 50 years in federal prison

The maximum prison time total for the five federal offenses is 33 years, with the Washington offenses carrying a maximum of 15 years for second-degree burglary and another six months for unlawful entry.

I would be surprised if he got the max sentence.

SUSPECT IN KAVANAUGH CONFIRMATION DOXXING HAS FEINSTEIN TIES, ALLEGEDLY POSSESSED SENATE DATA. DOJ MAY HIDE THE DETAILS

The suspect’s father, Greg Cosko, is the CEO of Hathaway Dinwiddie, a massive construction company that built a university building named after Feinstein’s husband. He serves on the board of San Francisco State University alongside Willie Brown, the California politician who said he helped make the career of California’s other Democratic senator, Kamala Harris, with an illicit affair.

As former chairman of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Greg Cosko hobnobbed with then-House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Feinstein and others. The elder Cosko’s adult son appears to have made inroads in Washington via an internship with Feinstein.
