To say nothing about lower back pains......that's what stops me from doing push ups these days.


On the other hand, I can swim 2000 yards without a standing rest (I rest by switching strokes) now and when in battle trim for it, without a hitch (then, more crawl than resting stroke).


So be careful what exercise one uses to judge fitness.
