There is a market for a conservative based news channel. If Rupert's sons turn out to be lefties (which I doubt) some entrepreneur with big bucks will start a new one. But personally I don't think the Murdochs will kill the goose that lays their golden eggs.

There are plenty of Media outlets that are controlled by very large, successful corporations that are willing to sacrifice ratings and advertising revenue for Leftist IDEOLOGY. CNN (Time Warner). NBC/MSNBC (Comcast), ABC/ESPN (Disney). Washington Post (Bezos/Amazon). Need I go on?
