I know, I don't get it. Why would Putin want the loose cannon unpredictable Trump in office when Hillary had proven over the years in office that she is well willing to play ball for the right price.

Why would Putin want Trump in office? What does Putin want? Sanction relief. A diminished United States that's out of NATO. Disruption and chaos, and mistrust of our election process. Is Trump a useful idiot? Would you rather have Clinton or a businessman that's rubbing financial elbows with your oligarchs? Ever hear of a shell company? Money passes through from sketchy people and it's "laundered." That Palm Beach house comes to mind. You know, the one sold to Dimitry Ryboloviev for 100 million that Trump bought for 40 million. Huh. Why would Dimitry tear down the house and later sell the property for 37 million? That's quite a fee for Trump to launder that money isn't it? That's just one deal, I'm sure Putin knows of many more. Here's another quandary. Deutsche Bank. Why would they continue to lend money to Trump after he sued them for predatory practices and defaulted on tens of millions of dollars. What was Deutsche Bank fined for? Hint: it has to do with Russians and money laundering. The BBC reported that after Trump won Putin wasted no time in sending his congrats and some Russian companies invited their clients in for a celebration. Who is Sam Patten and what did he plead guilty to? Hint: Which Putin connected Ukrainian oligarch attended Trump's inauguration party after an American (Patten) illegally set up a straw donor for the oligarch to attend. Patten is good buddies with Manafort and worked with Cambridge Analytica. Patten also has ties to Kilminik, Manaforts long time buddy and receiver of internal polling data.
Why do people have TDS? Oh I don't know. Could it be his mafia connections to the Russians? Could it be his undying bromance with Putin? (Who gave away classified information in the oval office to the Russian's with only the Russian press there?) Could it be the sketchy business dealings that left Trump University doors shut forever and a 25 million dollar settlement? Could it be Trump charitable foundation shamefully used for personal gain? Could it be a soft porn model first lady with his chain migrated family in the white house? Need more?

No one would call the Trump family and team criminal masterminds with the likes of Donny Jr, Manafort, Flynn and Roger Stone. They thought they were being slick and could do as they please but got caught up in their own arrogance,
Your statement on Clinton is absurd since Putin hated her, he blamed the Russian election protests in 2011 one her. He did not want to have to deal with her, he wanted Trump and that has been backed up by our intelligence agencies.

People like the OP are missing the point. Few people in the Middle American rust belt and bible belt voted for a self-promoting billionaire from NYC with dubious TV show because they thought he was a stellar upstanding human being. They voted for him and largely stick by him because of his economic policies of bringing jobs back to America, stopping illegal immigration, and ending the bashing of the middle class. His voters only need to look around they see the disastrous effects of the prior administrations.
Good factory jobs were demeaned and sent overseas. Everyone was encouraged to go to college so that now baristas have a college degrees. If you have a kid in school, you can just look at the vast sums spent for early childhood programs to bring kids raised in illegal immigrant households to minimum state standards. Go to an ER and you will find illegals from all points south of Texas there. And the middle class pays for it all.
None of the sleaze on Trump will matter when the other side has many issues. The fundamental problems will persist and only get worse. News coverage like rich liberals paying to get their kids in good colleges create more Trump voters every day.
