The US has free speech, so I am not sure what they are going to be investigating.
So long as it's organic & not someone paying them to peddle their anti-Trump propaganda, they're good. If they happen to be getting paid with cash, gifts, trips, tickets, etc. in exchange for slamming Trump non-stop, that's a different ball game. That would make them unregistered lobbyists.
What a bunch of BS this story is.. Trump saying that the election commission look into the bias is just what the FBI did looking for collusion or election tampering to get Trump elected.. the media is sure trying to take Trump out with unbridled bias.. after all Obama went after the Conservative groups using the IRS to hamper and scare them with investigations and questions.
The media is a big tool being used to take down our president.. they run the same stories, the same talking points over and over because they have to constantly try to diminish Trump with the American citizens never focusing on Trumps victories for the American people.. that is because they hate Trump doing anything good because their objective is not helping Americans, it is gaining control with socialism and taking our freedoms from us and replacing it with government power to control us in every aspect of our lives. What to eat , what we can buy, what we can say , what we can do. Orwellian tactics to bring this country into the global one world government with no identity to any country, just a diverse global citizen with opened borders. The ruling class and the poor class with be the goal of Socialism.
These same people praising Trump for his SNL attack will wet their pants should the next democrat president ask for an investigation into Hannity, Tucker and Limbaugh.
I agree with you, but you're missing the obvious. The obvious is that the left is absolutely fine with weaponizing law enforcement to investigate it's political enemies, while looking for a crime. The past 240 years of our judicial system were thrown out the window, when the left started launching investigations into Trump, hoping to find a crime.
If that's how 'justice' is applied now, then how can you complain about launching investigations into SNL & their cast? What is it the left likes to say..."If they're not guilty of anything, then they have nothing to worry about"?
Maybe Trump should launch a Special Counsel? Overwhelm the cast & producers with legal fees until they can't pay their lawyers anymore? Bankrupt them all. Make them lose their homes, all their savings, etc. Then investigate their family's & do the same to them. Finally bring them in & threaten their family members with 30 in prison unless they plead guilty to some procedural violation. Does this sound unfair?

Your post makes no sense. First, I do not agree that the"left "weaponized" law enforcement. The FBI on its own accord and because of Trump's own conduct launched an investigation into Trump's Russian connection. Second, you seem to take the opinion well, because they did it we can do it too. This is just a kindergarten playground argument. Third, you have trouble distinguishing between the power of the media protected under the first amendment and the power of the state. Once we go down the path you describe we may as well join the ranks of all banana republics.
SNL isn't funny, because political activism isn't funny. It's also not 1983 anymore, where there are only 3 channels to choose from on Saturday night. Their vehicle is dying. Their format is dying. The best thing Trump can do, is let them die on their own.

You mean FBI Director James Comey - who was a REPUBLICAN for DECADES (and is now an independent) - and who TRUMP praised for helping him win the election by reopening the investigation into Hillary's e-mail just before the election?
You mean Attorney General Jeff Sessions - who was the REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN from ALABAMA who was the 1st member of Congress to back Trump and was APPOINTED to his Attorney General position BY TRUMP?
You mean Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein - who's a LIFETIME REPUBLICAN nominated to his position by TRUMP?
You mean acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe - who's a LIFETIME REPUBLICAN chosen to replace Comey by TRUMP?
You mean FBI Director Christopher Wray - who's a LIFETIME REPUBLICAN chosen to replace McCabe by TRUMP?
