We are talking about terrorism and political violence. People strike out violently when they fear losing a privileged position more than the consequences of violent behavior. In some cases, they have no personal recourse or a logical or rational response to an opposing factual argument. Their sorry little minds can't comprehend an acceptable rational solution in the face of overwhelming truth...or they can't accept the truth. We see this almost every day and some right-wingers are prime examples of this approach. When they get frustrated and run out of slogans they turn to violence. When the "But Hillary..." or "But Obama..." crowd finally realizes how stupid they are, some will start acting out rather than wising up to facts. In spite of the arguments and claims by Trump, he is pushing this envelope and inciting people to act out. He sees his own position of privilege eroding.

The left has been much more violent than the right. Trump isn't inciting anyone to do anything only in the leftist, hate Trump minds. It's really sad to see what the left has become.

Folks, if you don't know by now you probably were in a coma. Right-wing violence is here to stay and getting bolder. An antifa may scream at you and knock your hat off your head. A right-winger would point a gun at you and mow down you and everyone around you. You decide who's the real problem here.

All right wingers? And what exactly makes someone a right winger?

Antifa is never violent? Never destroys private and public property?

Sip some more of whatever you are drinking, you need it.

I would say individuals who commit terrorist acts are numbers who will find a reason to hate and to act out no matter what. While I agree with you that most people are sheep and will follow a strong personality, look no further than Trump supporters, Hillary supporters, hardcore party loyalists from both sides. Change a few words and they are virtually indistinguishable from each other. The same rants the right used about Obama are now used by the left about Trump. The same excuses the left Used for Obama are now used by Trump supporters.

A whack job will find a way to commit their violence. What changes is the mode and tools. It doesn't help that the media insists upon giving them hours upon hours of press. They all have that in common. The love of attention and notoriety.

Simple changes in immigration policies, that respect the rights of citizens to the peaceful enjoyment of their homes without incursion, could avoid all of this.

But the left can't stop, so they can't stop this backlash either.

It will just have to play itself out.

I never said anything about immigration. What I am saying is that we always have a choice about how we react to any situation. We have free will. No one forces us to do anything. Saying that you were provoked is just playing the victim. The world would be a better place if we could stop blaming others for our actions and actually take responsibility for our decisions.

If you have been following and actually paying attention to the news in the last few years, you would see that most of the mass killings have been done by anti-immigrant, right wing people. I can thing of one shooting by a leftist (the base ball shootings) and one by an extremist Muslim (Florida), but the rest seem to be espousing racist and anti-immigrant ideologies. There have also been a few that don't espouse any ideology. The last I heard, the Las Vegas shooting was one of those. But most authorities on violence will tell you that white supremicist/white nationalist terrorists are the rising threat in this country, and world wide.

By the way, Antifa has shown some violence - property damage and mayhem. But you won't find an Antifa member shooting up a place of worship or a school. White nationalists feel free not only to be violent, but to kill.

Yes, and for that you have to look at first causes. The cause of the NZ mosque attack was mass-immigration that nobody asked for or approved (and the subsequent harms done to Westerners as a result).

Just like the OKC bombing was a direct response to the government murders of unarmed people at Waco and Ruby Ridge.

What these things have in common is that they both demonstrate cause-and-effect. Without the cause, the effect could not have occurred.

So you can call them terrorism but the truth is they were caused by poor decisions - its backlash.

Stop being aggressive and watch as these kinds of things no longer occur.

How dare you bring up the inconvenient truth of Democrat controlled neighborhoods.

We all know only white people have a problem with gun violence
