Common sense would also dictate that criminals, by definition, do not follow laws.

Meanwhile in the US... AR-15 rifles were used to commit every major mass shooting in the United States since the 2012 attack in an Aurora, Colorado movie theater and we do nothing.

Totally agree sounds like my kind of country!

Saw that on the news this morning. And the bill still has to be drafted and passed, this is just their direction. Personally, they should ban killing people. Once that ban is in place no one will ever kill another again.

The irony here is the shotgun the shooter used is probably a more devastating weapon.

I am not inspired by what she said or how she said it. Her grammar is atrocious.

So why go after the AR or semi autos rifles ? Go after firearm that is used in the majority of firearms related murders, the semi auto handgun. See, that would be the logical way to do things, instead they go after the sensationalized firearm and the sheep follow.

Because people are not using their brains. They watch CNN/MSNBC show pictures of a bad guy with an AR-15 in his hands and go "Big gun bad, ban big gun, we no want big gun". And that's that.

This is the level of critical thinking driving ideology on the left at the moment.

Not us, though.
Maybe they should have made the mosque a "gun free " zone... another measure to ensure this will never happen again.

I'm not a hunter but I'm fairly certain hunting with an "assault rifle" is completely illegal. Pretty sure you realize that.
