...between Kyle Kuklinski and Jesse Lee Peterson. I always wondered where a bunch of the right wing talking points come from on this forum, and 90% of them are straight out of the mouth of this idiot Peterson. It all makes sense now lol.
-Blacks on the plantation
-Racism never existed
-Free stuff instead of family
-pretty much everything negative ever said about Obama
-impossible to not make it if working full time
-religion replaced by government
All idiotic, and all from his mouth
All that and Trump won.
Can you imagen how bad the democrats were and still are ? They are truly despicable !!!
And the right wonder why the vast majority of academics are left-leaning lol... Conservatism is fundamentally close-minded and simplistic for such a nuanced world.
Actually, Jesse is finessing white conservatives by parroting their rhetoric at a profit. He is the one who gets his talking points from them, not the other way around. They will then promote him to speak out against blacks and about blacks, lest they be correctly accused of being racist for doing so. Jesse is a paid proxy for racist who don't want to called racist for their rhetoric.
I basically agree with this. He is funny to listen to when he is trolling leftists, but he can't possibly believe half the things he says.
Jefferson; a fraud of the first order: "Never was man given more fame for what he himself did not do." Moncure Conway
His criticism of Jefferson is merely that he was too pragmatic when it came to abolishing slavery. Jefferson believed abolition was not possible without changing the economic and social-order first.
But you could criticize Jefferson for his pessimism. He didn't believe whites and blacks could ever become a nation together. And so long as they continued to exist together, the hostilities between them would never end.
"Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate than that these people are to be free. Nor is it less certain that the two races, equally free, cannot live in the same government. Nature, habit, opinion has drawn indelible lines of distinction between them." - Thomas Jefferson
