Arizona Republican Senator Andy Biggs said during a Monday radio interview produced by the conservative Christian group, the Family Research Council (FRC), that he voted against the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) on Saturday because it included provisions for domestic partnerships, including same-sex relationships.
I don't understand why republicans are still so hung up on the issue. We won. You guys lost. Get over it already. Sheeeese...

They believe that homosexuality is the one sin that is so grave in the eyes of God he will wipe out an entire society that tolerates it. Do in doing this, they believe they are saving America.
Ironic thing is that in a round about way, same-sex marriage has brought the end of American society as we've known it. The evangelicals elected a madman out of spite and now we have the pandemic and economic crash that goes with it. The pandemic would have happened regardless but it could have gone much smoother if we had more competent leadership. Now we're going to have a repeat of the 1930s Great Depression.

Please, dont read fake newsWeak.
Biggs actual statement:
"In true Washington, D.C., fashion, congressional appropriators turned the president’s reasonable $2.5 billion request into a bloated $8.3 billion package," Biggs said. "By passing this larded-up bill, Congress again fails to wisely appropriate taxpayer dollars. ... Throwing money at a potentially serious issue does not alleviate the American people’s concerns. Nor does politicizing the issue to score points for future elections." https://www.azcentral.com/story/news...19/5049190002/

In other words, Azcentral didn't choose to include Biggs' other reason to vote no for it having to do with it allowing for domestic partnerships, including same-sex relationships, assuming it knew about the radio interview.
Is this bill in reference to the Chinese virus? There's like 20 strands of Coronavirus out there, some are very common coronavirus's and other coronavirus are dangerous like SARS and MERS.
At least it doesn't include a $50 billion bailout for airlines.
