Street sense? ... lol....Nope, Medicaid patients are in the same nursing homes paying customers are in. We don't warehouse people.

About 65 percent of nursing home residents are supported primarily by Medicaid. Where do you come up with this silliness? The last 3 years of a family members live was spent in a nursing home, 74% of the residents were on Medicaid while I wrote checks for $8K a month. The care was great.

You must have not paid attention to what you had.....

During the Bush years.

Double digit increases most every year.
People dropped from the roles for ridiculous "pre-existing" condition.
You could be sold "bill of goods" insurance, not covering anything like reg. preventative care.
Lifetime and yearly caps...and much more.
Fewer people getting health care (many tens of millions without).
Bankruptcies for medical bills hit new records.

and much more......

Ah, the good old days....

it's been fixed, keep buying Obamacare, it's cheap and great! $5000 deductibles and $1000 a month in premiums, what's not to like?

It's AFFORDABLE, Obama said so.

It's still more affordable that the system that preceded it. That tells you how f***** up our healthcare system really is.

I will be forever grateful for Senator McCain allowing me to keep my health insurance. His last vote was for the good of all Americans. Kudos to him for that.

The GOP has absolutely nothing to offer when it comes to this issue. That has been clear for decades now. The only thing they can do is oppose, oppose, oppose. Time for them to go.
They have been working on it for 10 years and came up with nothing.

Trump: 'Nobody knew health care could be so complicated'
