Here's something from a gun owners magazine in the UK. Sure doesn't sound like the UK is gun-free to me.
No bans. No restrictions. Not another inch.
In fact.

I hope I live to see the day that the Supreme Court rules the NFA unconstitutional, Hughes amendment unconstitutional GCA of 1968 unconstitutional. Licenses/permits to exercise a Constitutionally protected civil liberty, unconstitutional.

Nobody is saying Ban all the guns. = Just arbitrarily ban what we say.

If Comrade Bernie "thinks" New Zealand and their ideals are so great, why don't he move over there?? New Zealand is pretty a socialist country anyway.

Also, I'm still curious about Comrade Bernie's activities in the old Soviet-Russia during the Cold War... I'm pretty sure that several Russian intelligence services have some interesting information on him.

Yes, there is private gun ownership in the United Kingdom, but it's beyond restrictive to the average British subject. The only types of firearms they can own are single/bolt action centerfire rifles and manual/pump action shotguns. The only semi-automatic firearms British Subjects can own are .22 caliber rifles. And forget about owning a handgun for protection because they're banned from private ownership.

The above is only for the law biding British Subjects since they will always obey the law, while the criminal elements and terrorist have access to "REAL" military assault rifles like a "REAL" AK-47s and all types of handguns through the black market channels.

I love it when anti gun people use the United Kingdom and whatever country as an example since they tend to never tell you the whole truth.

Don't know what a "faith card" is, but to reiterate, the right to self defense is not government given. It is a natural right.

Further, there is no need for a "constructive discussion" about confiscating one's firearms.

In Great Britain there is no right to self defense in any case. It is unlawful to resist a home invasion, let alone shoot the perp.

How on earth did a populace allow that to happen?

Follow the Constitution.
A man protects himself.
A coward looks to government.

They are used to being dictated to like many other countries. That is why we split away from England and Europe. We don't need, nor want government to have to protect us because with that comes CONTROL, and abuse.

You mean to tell me there isn't one nursing home in this great country willing to take Ole'Bernie in as a full time resident?
