Obviously that is the first step.

Trump came in and the famous Sessions memo went out....threatening banks if they got involved. In other words, Trump said Government was gonna be "hands on" with pot again.

When Sessions left that memo was quietly rescinded- but in a confusing fashion. Meanwhile, Trump constantly called for EXECUTION of drug dealers and loves him some Duerte, a dude who has killed 20,000 to 30,000 drug users, prostitutes ( raping them) and others...extra-judiciously.

This is history.

https://www.chicagotribune.com/busin...104-story.html

"The Trump administration threw the nation's burgeoning movement to legalize marijuana into uncertainty Thursday, terminating an Obama-era leniency policy that kept federal authorities from cracking down in states that have declared it legal. Prosecutors can now go after the pot trade whenever state and federal drug laws collide, Attorney General Jeff Sessions declared."

It's important for you to know what the "conservative" current admin has done....at the very least. They are against personal freedoms like this.
Hands off lol, yea we know.

Sad that these people reject personal liberties and freedom, but when you're scared of everything and everyone, it's easy to cower before an authoritarian government.
What is scary is you actually believe what you posted here

Funny how freedom of choice applies when its something you're on board with, but heaven forbid someone want to get out of the govt schemes you force everyone into at gunpoint.
You folks are laughable.

Those people belong in low wage jobs if they cannot figure out something so simple to stay out of trouble.

It is not by design, it is/was illegal, it was not a secret, people voluntarily possessed it and got caught doing so.
So I can count you in as one who wants every one of the thousands of possibly illegal crime committed by the Trump clan and admin and others tied in.....fully investigated, prosecuted and convicted of felonies...and losing their voting rights?

How about jaywalkers? Shouldn't we take away their voting rights too and make them wage slaves? Drunk drivers?

What you say is not so simple. Many states have full legalized pot. The OP and other lament that Trump is keeping racist laws (yes, they were made for that reason) in place when there is zero benefit to do so.

It's costing you billions in tax money also.

At gunpoint? Where does that come from?
