As far as I can tell, VP Biden has been no more guilty of anything than every teen boy does on prom night. Unseemly, weird, but not a huge deal. I would love to support Biden as perhaps the lone viable D moderate, but he has serious corruption issues. There's his plagiarism, from 1988, but he's added to his resume since then.

Michelle Malkin details in her book Culture of Corruption the shady shenanigans of Sen. Biden and his son Hunter. Basically Hunter was used as a proxy, or cutout, in order to insulate Joe. But in 2008, when Biden became VP running mate, Hunter stopped lobbying. Apparently in the Biden's eyes, it was ok to have a Senator's son involved in influence peddling, but not a VP's son.

Peter Schweizer details in his book Secret Empires how the Biden's graduated from the big leagues to world-class leagues. The Chinese have a concept called 'princelings.' Children of powerful political leaders go into business and get lucrative deals from those who just want access to their parents. In any politics, access to decision-makers can be all-important. It's often the difference in getting something done, whether for ill or good.

Schweitzer recounts how this was pulled off by Joe and Hunter. Time and time again, Joe would push some foreign policy agenda sought by overseas (especially Chinese) interests, and Hunter would subsequently line up some lucrative deal. Invariably arranged such that there was little transparency.

Read the book before you consider voting for Joe Biden.

Or you could read this for starters...

Inside the shady private equity firm run by Kerry and Biden’s kids

What Hunter Biden, the son of America’s vice president, and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of the chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (later to be secretary of state), were creating was an international private equity firm. It was anchored by the Heinz family alternative investment fund, Rosemont Capital. The new firm would be populated by political loyalists and positioned to strike profitable deals overseas with foreign governments and officials with whom the US government was negotiating.

...
The partners attached several branches to the Rosemont Capital trunk, including Rosemont Seneca Partners, LLC, Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners, and Rosemont Realty.

...
Some of their transactions are nevertheless traceable by investigating world capital markets. A troubling pattern emerges from this research, showing how profitable deals were struck with foreign governments on the heels of crucial diplomatic missions carried out by their powerful fathers. Often those foreign entities gained favorable policy actions from the United States government just as the sons were securing favorable financial deals from those same entities.

Nowhere is that more true than in their commercial dealings with Chinese government-backed enterprises.

If you are not familiar with this, read the whole article. In goes in depth into how the travel of the sons coincided with deals in their company. Also goes into some of the financial relationships. I can't post it all.

Biden is creepy but they`re 200% behind a president that would like to do his daughter. He said he would probably be dating her but no one really thinks he`s talking about going to a movie and heading to the malt shop to put a quarter in the juke box.

Biden's interest in having the fairly "woke" Stacey Abrams as VP is enough reason in itself not to vote for him.

I'll translate this TDS-impaired, lib-speak for normal folks: "I can not defend Biden, but look over here."

BTW, Peter Schweizer does have a couple chapters in Secret Empires about Trump & associates. Also a chapter about Mitch McConnell. The back cover blurbs say it all:

FYI, the above 3 are all confirmed liberals, the first a commentator and the other 2 academics.

It's actually not funny.

I wrote that dbag off when he decided not once but twice to be openly racist about asian people.

Which is one thing.

But then to pretend to be something else entirely...ugh. Double whammy.

Presidents and administrations aside...the US govt (as a whole) is without a doubt, the most corrupt govt on the planet.
