Wasn't sure if this was the right forum for this but here goes. It seems that ever since marijuana became legal, at least where I live, three out of four of my close guy friends are all over it now and like it. I never had much interest in it myself.

But I noticed that my women friends have no interest at all it seems compared to my guy friends. There wives and gfs don't do it with them at all, and when I asked, they said that their women SOs just weren't into it.

So I looked it up and seems that statistically, twice as man men are into it compared to women:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/...use-marijuana/

But I was just curious as to why that is. Is it a feminism thing, and marijuana has just not caught up compared to women doing other things that men do, and it's all in good time perhaps? Just curious what the reason was, if anyone knew.

Probably because women follow society rules more than men.

If that's true, then it's also true they are less inclined to break those rules in order to help instigate change.

Really? Sooo...the whole temperance movement, and womens rights things....totally not woman led and 100% no rules broken.... Got it. Also a few names in history that you are apparently unfamiliar with.

You're attempting to link things that may not be that closely linked.

Could be stress levels in males. Also help alleviate pains of having worked long and hard hours. Not saying that women don't, by all means.

Could also be the same as women with wine. I find that there's more women that drinks more wine than men.

men are lazier than women, and pot allows them to attain their most comfortable state.

Women like to get high just as much as men. They just do it differently than men.
