Another loose-spending (and wasteful) measure, unapproved by Congress, and even circumvented from public vote. The government is totally out of control.
All this because some poor people believe in the American dream, and want to cross over.
No one has the guts to do a comparative analysis: the costs of the supposed "problem" vs. the costs of this colossal spend-a-thon. It's runaway train of madness with politicians at the helm.
So just because millions of poor people want to come here when we don't have the jobs and resources to accomodate them we should just let them in anyway and in spite of the negative impact it will have on our own citizens?
Yes, there has been a cost comparison of the fiscal burden that illegals cost us. They pay about $19 billion in taxes but cost us over $100 billion a year (link posted many times). It was congress who approved of this wall back in 2006 and yes it is cost effective based on the above and already proven to work even the Border Patrol and Homeland Security have said so. I have provided many links proving their effectiveness also.
You really need to stop posting that crap. Mexico is never going to pay for the wall. Trump has made stuff up and you fall for the con every time. "Who's gonna pay for the wall?" "Mexico" Said the crowd then repeat at every speech or rally Trump has ever had.

What's crap about his plan? Mexico is already paying for it via increased tariffs. For the umpteenth time Trump never said they'd write a check for it.
Why is it a concern to you and yours anyway when congress already approved of this wall back in 2006 and it was soley to be the taxpayer to fund it? Did you raise hell back then about it? No, you didn't! Which makes you and yours hypocrites! Why would anyone want to continue to pay over $100 billion a year for the social costs of illegal aliens when a $25 billion wall would go a long ways in preventing those expenses from increasing? The good walls in place already have been very effective in deterring illegal entry. You guys make no sense at all. All you and yours are interested in is calling Trump a con man when your focus should be on our nationals security of which he is trying to address.
It's clear that the left likes to play semantics. They are either:
Pretending that they have no clue what Trump meant when he said Mexico would pay for the wall - which they would know if they had watched his rallies, because he explained it. And a poster on this thread already posted what was meant. We knew that. Only the left pretends that they don't.

Trump's campaign sent a memo to several news outlets, on Trump letterhead, explaining how he would make Mexico pay for the wall as a one-time payment. Here's a PDF from his campaign site.
It's an easy decision for Mexico: make a one-time payment of $5-10 billion to ensure that $24 billion continues to flow into their country year after year.
He's since come up with so many alternative explanations that there will always be at least one version the faithful can cling to as the truth, although I do wonder how you keep it straight.
Then Id like to know how the story that came out today was correct then, the thing about Mexicans stealing wall materials and using it at their own homes...I thought Trump was denied on his wall? So how have they had materials for the wall sitting around, to be stolen in the first place?!!
I'd like to know how this failsafe, effective barrier failed to stop the people stealing its materials. Although I have to admire the sort of go-getter hustle entrepreneurship on display.
