First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
This X infinity.

We will all forget about it in less than 24 hours.
He didn't do it to appease liberals.

Y'all dont remember that meeting he had with the NRA? When he told them that they didn't own him, so EF you?
One reason I like the dude (though I did not vote for him or Clinton).

I wish people would realize that there are tons of gun owning conservatives who have zero issue with some reasonable restrictions on gun ownership. Of course, we realize that criminals will still blah blah blah. But decreasing supply does make it harder.

Of course he did it to appease them. He's a liberal himself.

And Not Real Activists is a gun control organization.

Example #9473 of why conservatives are worthless and are just progressives in denial.

All gun laws are infringements on property rights. All of them.

This is not how our system of government is supposed to work, and it's gonna happen again and again across many different issues to the detriment of Americans unless it's stopped here and now.
Its always been like that. Its a falacy that we live in a fair and free society. Any one of our rights can be circumvented by popular opinion and people in government.

And re: the bump stock ban and Trump being a pretty obvious enemy of the 2nd Amendment, this is why I wrote the following in another thread:

In every election I voted in ever, somebody awful won, then went on to abuse power, to oppress/threaten and to be part of the most immoral construct imaginable.
You can also take the sage words of El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz and extend his argument to gun grabbing Republicans and their relationship with the sovereign individual citizen:

The sovereign individual American is nothing, but a political football."
A pox upon all their houses, I say.

"Trump's Terrible Record on Property Rights"

The title of the article says it all. Great read if you have the time.

Just another reminder that the individual never actually owns the land, but instead is merely renting it from the State.

Yes, exactly! I think many people are saying things like this, because it is the safest, easiest and most convenient way out of having to take some kind of action. No one wants to put their lives at risk or do something that may end in their arrest or being thrown in jail, its MUCH easier to 'go along to get along'.

Whether we like it or not, ultimately we 'the people' ARE todays regulated militias...its up TO US, to step up and take action if Govt attempts something like this....the Constitution allows us to remove a govt from power...but we have to actually step up to do it.

The fact that the MAGA cultists are some of the biggest defenders of their messiah's gun-grabbing is proof that the only way liberty will emerge is when the entire house of cards collapses.

The gun nuts are seriously out of control.

No one needs a full auto weapon or a device that makes a semi-auto fire like one.

Good grief you people have totally lost it. How much slaughter of innocent people will it take to restore your sanity?
