No one needs a full auto weapon or a device that makes a semi-auto fire like one.
Good grief you people have totally lost it. How much slaughter of innocent people will it take to restore your sanity?
Neither you nor anyone else has the right to tell someone what they “need.”
The US military has slaughtered hundreds of thousands of people since 2003. Cops slaughter hundreds of people every year in this country.
How much slaughter of innocent people will it take for you to advocate for abolishing the military and completely disarming cops and the entire U.S government?

Abolishing the military?
I stand by my original assessment, you really have lost it.
Name one war this country has fought that has protected US property rights. 1812 is the only one I can recall.
Seriously?
Did the Japanese respect US property rights in Hawaii in 1941?

I can agree with a need for a certain amount of reform and reduction in our bloated military apparatus. That is a far cry from "abolishing the military".

Could cut that in half, especially the bases all over the world.

Hawaii was stolen land acquired through the US overthrow of the Hawaiian queen less than 50 years prior.

Military defense can be taken care of through volunteers and private funding. There is no reason whatsoever to have a single American troop in any foreign country.
I notice you avoided the question of whether or not cops and the entire U.S government should be disarmed:

So we should just have accepted the attack as payback for annexing Hawaii and not gotten involved in WW2? Seriously?

No cops should not be disarmed. That would be incredibly foolish.
Cops respond to hostile situations where criminals are armed all the time.
I do however think that cops need much better training and they need to reform the training so their first instinct is not to shoot someone but to only do that as a last resort.

As long as the agents of tyranny have them, every citizen should retain their rights to have them also. Period.
The agents of tyranny possessing them is what constitutes the citizen's need for them. If a government agent can threaten me with an automatic weapon, I should retain my right to defensively reply in kind. And yes, that extends to every other weapon you'll name in your upcoming reductio absurdum. Grenades, flamethrowers, rocket launchers, all of it. If the government agent can aim it at me, I should be able to aim the same thing right back at them. Period.
The natural right to own property defends my ownership. The natural right to life, defense of that life and ownership of self gives me the right to choose whatever the fark I want to employ in defense of those rights.
And you don't decide what I need, nor do I decide that for you.
