This is a really big deal, but in the Reality Show of modern America, people would rather read a Trump tweet.

Someday it will be part of the history of how....well, they said "Capitalism will sell you the rope to hang yourself with".

The history books will show how "Capitalism will sell you the very system that promoted it, lock, stock and Constitution".

The corruption of Trump's Administration is only exceeded by it's ineptness.
He drained the swamp to only fill it with Mega-mutated swamp creatures (including himself and his family).

"Drained the swamp and filled it with toxic waste" is how I've looked at it.

She needs to be fired and jailed. Whistle blower laws should not cover people reporting perfectly legal behavior. And, make no mistake about it, President Trump was completely within his rights to issue these clearances. She seems like a partisan hack trying to drum up another "investigation" now that the Mueller report found no collusion. Move on Dems.

So, Trump giving his son in law, a security clearance after being shut down several times, and who tried to set up a secret back channel to Russian intelligence should get Security clearances to view all the secrets of the US.

Because of Trump.

Default Whistleblower Says White House Overturned 25 Denied Security Clearances.

An 18-year White House employee told congressional investigators that she and other career staffers denied security clearances for 25 Trump administration officials, including three "very senior" officials, only to see most of those recommendations overturned.

The employee, Tricia Newbold, was interviewed by staff of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. Democrats on the panel released a summary of her interview, conducted over the weekend, raising new questions about how and why the White House issued security clearances to, among others, Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law.

Republicans argued in response that Democrats on the committee released "cherry-picked excerpts" of the interview with Newbold to "manufacture a misleading narrative that the Trump White House is reckless with our national security."

According to Democrats, Newbold said that security clearance applications "were not always adjudicated in the best interest of national security" and that staff denials were frequently overturned by senior officials to grant the employees access to classified information.

Trump does have that authority as President of the USA. I hope the dems do question that authority, so they can be made to look like desperate fools again.
