These were some of the metaphors used by Sen. Mike Lee to blast the Democratic Green New Deal proposal.
In his speech in the Senate Tuesday, the Utah Republican even brought up former President Ronald Reagan.
Lee's point was that the proposal - which is supported only by some Democrats - is about as serious as those images.

Mike Lee did a great job.
The senate democrats were seen as a profile in cowardice.
