This is not a Government program.

The money can be used for other educational programs and the private sector can continue picking up the expense like it has since it's founding.

Let's use the money to educate all the illegal kids crossing the border since Libs won't build a wall. The money has to come from somewhere.

I'll bet funding mainline sports programs takes away more dollars from you than Special Olympics does.

Special Olympics funding is spread out among the whole country. Local HS sports teams (especially) are locally funded only. Therefore, per capita, mainstream sports programs are much more costly than Special Olympics.

You do realize that the majority of the Special Olympics gets their funding from charity and donations? How about our tax dollars go to things we need, not for programs that can be propped up by donations?

Heck, I have an even better idea. Why not slash all of congress salaries by half, and have them on the same kind of health care the privates get in the VA?
