I've been saying it for nearly 3 years now...

Trump is a Clinton plant designed to condition Republican voters into accepting leftist policies.

I bought "assault weapons" all through the previous ban, hell there is one in CA right now and look at the front page ad for Turners!

Another useless law
It will be a felony to own one, so good luck with that attitude.

Anyone in possession of a bump stock from now on can be charged with a federal offense punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Bump stocks are turned in or destroyed as ban takes effect

They'll accept anything if it comes from their own party.

If this was Obama's ban, they'd be screaming off the top of their lungs.

They won't enforce it so who cares. The only people that it will hit will be someone caught doing another felony and it will be a tack on charge.

What was the NY and CA compliance rate for assault weapons? Less than 15%. Where are all these new felons?

Oh that's right. It isn't being enforced because it's ridiculous and they aren't putting millions of people in jail (as a felon) over something this stupid.

Of course they would.

Just like Democrats turned a blind eye to Obama's war crimes.

Then Trump's a complete idiot for ordering the ban. Why pander to the Moms Demand Action/David Hogg crowd unless he has an ulterior motive?

The product of another Trump Dog & Pony Show, something he'll no doubt point to and proudly label an 'accomplishment'.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a request by gun rights activists to put on hold the Trump administration’s ban on “bump stock” attachments that allow semi-automatic weapons to be fired rapidly, a rare recent instance of gun control at the federal level.
Who has turned in their accessories? LOL.
A free person with Liberties, has to consent for another person to govern them.

They want it to go through the lower courts.

Remember Arizona and the federal government trying to force the state to enforce Federal laws?
That did go to the SC and NO, the federal Government cannot force States to enforce Federal law, or visa-versa

When BATFE agents are out policing BLM or other public lands to scoop up the few that own these then I will be concerned. Your average deputy or ranger won't give a hoot. IOW it is a useless law.

Because the gun lovers tend to take even the smallest anti gun things as if you had beaten their mother and stabbed their dog while in front of them. See the Dicks sporting goods thread. Can you still get an AR15 even tho Dicks does not carry them? The stock ban is a bit bigger than the smallest of things.
