What on Earth are you on about now? The question was about the EROI on wind turbines, it was answered, and then you decided to run off on a photovaltaic tangent, for some unfathomable reason.

Save it until your Great Hope says something stupid about photovoltaics. It's just a matter of time.

It is basically a valid gripe.............if you are capturing that that wind-energy, but not storing it as
electrical-energy, you have a lot of excess infrastructure in-order to meet peak-demands.

So, you only have energy available when the wind is cranking those generators...........how is Trump off in what he says?

What happens when Saudi Arabia and Iran cut us off and gas goes to $25/gallon?

Did you miss that the USA has been exporting gasoline for the last few years?

Sarah Palin was right back in 2008. Drill baby Drill has certainly been good for gasoline prices.

You can't change the fact that oil is a finite thing. It will run out.

Would you like to be dependent on a dialysis machine thats powered by wind or solar?
Very good points.
On any given day the wind farm near my house at least 1/3 of the windmills were not working.

I am all for alternative energy. Solar farms in the Arizona desert? Every high-rise? Tidal generators? Every rooftop in the USA? Yeah I would support all the above, depending upon who is asked to pay for it.

As much as I dislike him, I think he says things as a form of humour or just to wind people up.
