I do agree with what he said. I only wish he had been more forceful in affirming the right of all people to freely express their views, without impinging on the right of others to do so as well (as the black Muslim lady was attempting to do by compelling the other person to remove his MAGA hat). But still, it was a lot better than the PC garbage that would have emanated from the pie-holes of most university presidents in a similar situation.
The meaning of the MAGA hat is deeper than your judgemental labeling chickie. This is AMERICA. MAGA is celebrating that. That's what you hate. Don't like it, tough sh*t.
We have a right to exhibit our support for our country just as you do yours in your country, right? Oh wait. Try going there to do so, you won't like it.
Many blacks, and others on the left, call the MAGA hat racist because they call Trump a racist and there is not a single piece of evidence to support their claim.
So, in other words, it isn't just an article of clothing. This isn't an issue of fashion police. It's a symbol like a gang insignia or NAZI symbol. One chooses to wear it as a form of intimidation as much as any other reason. People are within their rights to be equally verbal against it.
The problem is that it backfires and announces that the MAGA hat wearer is gullible and falls for a con man's game and that they are too stupid to have an original thought. What's more -- they are dumb enough to wear Trump's brand -- trademarked by him in 2012 for commercial reasons. They are too dumb to realize how dumb they are.
I don't think that MAGA was originally intended to be intimidating or disruptive but it has become so thanks to the antics of the President and his extreme followers. Now it represents repression and even suggests violence toward anyone who is "other" or is in disagreement with Trump. People are reacting to the actions that the hat represents.
Every single thing you said describes people like YOU to a "T"!
A good lesson in whipping sheep into a hysterical frenzy that has them wishing to violate the rights of others and assault them.
Gal doesn't even have correct information, she's just been brainwashed into hating other people because um "they're bad".
We're not talking "hate" as in "I hate their views" but rather in terms of wanting to assault them etc. level hate.
Frankly, she's lucky she didn't do anything stupid enough to get herself suspended\expelled.
It's been pretty interesting seeing the action/reaction to this topic. Again, another video of a person wearing a MAGA cap being assaulted by an individual and again, the victim in this case remains calm throughout the situation while the attacker is acting completely irrational.
Is there any instance of a video where a MAGA hat wearer is spewing racial rhetoric, attacking a person for the color of their skin, you know - actually being racist?
I have to imagine they are everywhere to incite this kind or response again and again?

None! Wearing a MAGA hat is almost a guarantee of being peaceful.
