You're attempting to link things that may not be that closely linked.
Don't remove the context of the post I was replying to, and don't overlook the beginning of my reply: "If that's true".

All the female peers I know engages in it at least occasionally, wife included. But moreso the edibles than actually smoking.

I wonder if married gay men and women have a similar situation.

Pot is a white drug. Black drugs tend to gender neutral; white drugs are biased toward men.

Actually I have a theory. I have tried Pot and it did NOTHING for me. At all. And I tried enough. Eventually I learned there is a hormone that can interfere with ingredient that gets you high. Pregnenolone which is a sex hormone related to progesterone. Likely more common in women.

Weed was traditionally consumed in basements, garages, back behind the barn, dank apartments, dark alleys, and in the back of beat up chevy vans going down back country roads. All those places where boys rule.

But I noticed that my women friends have no interest at all it seems compared to my guy friends. There wives and gfs don't do it with them at all, and when I asked, they said that their women SOs just weren't into it.

So I looked it up and seems that statistically, twice as man men are into it compared to women:

But I was just curious as to why that is. Is it a feminism thing, and marijuana has just not caught up compared to women doing other things that men do, and it's all in good time perhaps? Just curious what the reason was, if anyone knew.
Men tend to abuse drugs and alcohol at higher rates than women.

That may well be true, of course when it's a prescription drug it's referred to as taking medication and not getting high.
