What's going on!??!

Quote:
Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin said Monday that she was “surprised” that she wasn’t invited to former running mate John McCain’s 2018 funeral, describing the snub as “kind of a gut punch.” “I was kind of surprised to be publicly disinvited to the funeral. I think that was an unnecessary step,” the former vice presidential hopeful said on Good Morning Britain in a clip spotted by Mediaite.

I'm surprised Trump didn't pick up on this and take Sarah Palin's side. Normally he looks for any opportunity to kick McCain in his grave.

Well, who in their right mind would want to run the risk of a drunken family brawl in the Rotunda?

Palin was one of the worst decisions McCain ever made. If he picked someone halfway competent, he *might* have had a chance in 2008.

Yeah, I can see why it might be a bit of a gut punch to be publicly uninvited. But the other side of it is-She was a major reason McCain did not become president. He was a pretty good opponent against Obama, and if it had been anyone but Obama he might have won. I was a big fan of McCains back then for some things he did and said. If he had someone better then Palin I think he might have beaten Obama.

A little unfair here to Palin. Palin while she was a Alaskan politician was pretty on the ball. Something happened to her though. And I really mean that. Its like she took crazy pills. Going from well spoken, to tripping over everything, and lately far far worse.

Obama won not because of Palin, but because the economy was falling apart with the market going down and the housing crash. If the economy had been doing well, Palin would have won even if she were number one on the ticket.

I don't buy it. Obama beat McCain 365-173 and 69 mil votes to 60 mil votes. It was not a close election. McCain would have lost no matter who his running mate was. The economy was crashing, people getting laid off, and were looking to make a statement against the very unpopular Bush.

Nah. She didn’t change. She’s always been that way. She took a good look at the kind of people she was surrounded by and told herself: “I can outdo these fools”.
