Correct. We have secured our borders against Trump supporters.
Too bad, I'm already there. Ha ha!
Despite how much CA sucks compared to how it was when I was growing up, of course I don't want to see a state NOT have any jobs. Unlike the left, who would love nothing more than to see President Trump fail, and the country fail, just so they can screech about it, I would actually like to see CA succeed. If there are more jobs available, that means more people are working - which means less tax burden on me. Win.
That's not what killed Detroit. Politics and racial issues did.
California is already insolvent and well on it's way to Bankruptcy. It has a massive infrastructure deficit and crippling Taxes and Regulations.
California will definitely have to reshape and rethink some things in the future, but I don't see the state going anywhere. The real estate and jobs are there.
And for the love of god PLEASE stop moving to Las Vegas! we're FULL!. I'm sure people in WA, OR, ID, and TX are saying the same thing though.
I welcome them to come move to my town to get it over 50,000 in population, so the town can be officially upgraded to a metro. Enid, also, in Oklahoma could use the same help.
These new houses being built in Stillwater are going to need somebody to move into them
That's good. Maybe CA's illegals can get jobs, pay those high California taxes, and get off the government teat.
Got news for you, I lived in Southern California, worked at companies that hired "illegals" and they were the hardest working people there, never missed work, never complained. They did take taxes out of their paychecks, and they were not on the government teat.
They also did jobs we are too good to take. So there goes that little theory of yours.

So, we should open our borders to everyone in the world
Well, when you have close to 40 million people in Cali, of course a great deal of the jobs added are going to come from them! If I was to move to Cali, which city would have a cost of living that is the same or slightly lower than Phoenix's cost of living?
