Looks like its on. And really....we need to make it a law in more states saying that they need to do this. Hes the first president in my lifetime I think that hasn't.

New Liberal Speak: Here is a person - find a crime!

I am sure the left will be thrilled if conservative states start adding requirements to run for office - need to make public your report cards, any organizations you've ever attended - even once, any major college papers, etc... But this would be the theft of someone's right to run for office with privacy rights in place.

The tax returns could show Trump is a tax cheat, not paid a dime in taxes and otherwise claims to be broke, which I suspect they will, and Trump zombies will hail him as a genius.

Trumpers could care less that about his tax returns. They know Trump lies and cheats and find that as part of his charm. They want their kids to emulate the guy.

He's not required to give his tax forms to anyone but the IRS.

What's surprised me, though, is that some stealth employee in the IRS hasn't leaked something incriminating.

Meanwhile you ignore the fact that every president since Nixon has released them. Its been the sort of light shown on our presidents to let people know they weren't criminals. And its been a good thing for our Democracy.

Of course you view this as "doublethink". You sure do seem willing to ignore that, and why it was such a good idea that until now every president has done so voluntarily.

Id be fine with the grades, etc too. But honestly those are trivial in comparison to the taxes. And you know it.

And the IRS is required BY LAW to give them to the ways and means committee when they ask.

Incidentally his tax returns are under some insane level of secrecy. No ones going to leak them. Although its funny you mention that.....Nixons were leaked, leading to many finding out he had paid very little in taxes. But every president since Nixon has released theirs voluntarily.

Trump has been audited every year since the early 2000s. Why do any of you think the IRS is going to miss wrongdoings but some unqualified Congressional committee is going to discover something? The Democrats just want to highlight him using legal deductions just like they did with Romney. More class warfare bs.

You are BSing 1984 style.

Nixon released his taxes because of the question of his slush fund - which he did in fact have, but argued he didn't profit from it personally. Which was silly, because he could profit from it and simply not report it as it would be hard to tell what he got from it.

If the IRS thinks Trump is lying on his taxes they investigate. They have audited him in the past. Unless you have any evidence that the IRS didn't do a proper job then you are simply on a witch hunt. I saw Trump with the devil!

There is no constitutional requirement to make public ones taxes - you are simply being anti-Democratic instead of here is a crime lets find the culprit you find someone you don't like and are searching for a crime.

You know darn well Trump's tax returns will be complicated and hard to understand for the average person who can use Turbo Tax and MSNBC will have a field day spinning more false conspiracy theories on the level of InfoWars.

Democrats would have a fit if conservative states started the same kind of BS so it is double speak.

You engage in Double Speak while pretending to stand for some sort of democratic principle...here is a person we don't like - find their crime.

About time! The least honest president in our history has to show proof that he is not beholden to nefarious interests.

Found the bs'er. Lets start. #1 Nixons taxes were leaked.

Bwahahaha. Quick-the billionaires taxes....we both agree they are insanely complex right? Pretty much for anyone making a billion. Agreed? Know how much time they spend auditing them? On average? 20 hours. LOL. Thats enough to read the summary....not to investigate. IRS investigation office has been massively underfunded.

And Cohen stated that the reason Trump wasn't going to release his taxes is that he feared a audit occurring. Think about it.

What sort of nonsense is this? I didn't make the claim there was a constitutional requirement. I stated it was good for our country. And theres nothing antidemocratic about this at all. What nonsense.

Cool. And I will smack around people who do that. But tax returns are how we know our president is not a crook.

LOL. You really are unfamiliar with this topic. Republicans have gone on and on about demanding democrats release their taxes even during the primaries.

Look in the mirror. LOL. Your claim this is about looking for a crime....like knowing your president is not a crook is somehow bad. Pathetic.
