You may want to read up on basic economics. If prostitution was legal, there would be little to no human trafficking because women (and men) could freely sell their bodies on the open market.
It's the same reason why drug cartels exist and why there was so much crime during Prohibition.

Most human trafficking involves minors. While I think prostitution should be legalized, it would have zero impact on human trafficking.
