I think the stress of being in politics has caused a split personality. I heard her speaking with Al Sharpton at an event for reparations and she sounded like Hillary imitating Aunt Jemima. "I ain't no ways tahrrred"
I read that she literally showed up in black face!! Why is the media not reporting on this?!
Trump is a narcissistic jackass. That fact doesn't excuse Occasional Cortex taking the rest of us for a ride on the crazy train.
Look Jim Rom Com,
Trump is doing exactly that - taking us for a ride on the crazy train. The fact that you can overlook the nutball in chief is, well, nutty. Look, i dont much care for OAC but I certainly dont think ole Trumpy is working with all his mental faculties - come on. He spray paints himself a color even the Joker himself would go "now thats crazy."
Yeah, kinda like a real estate guy playing President. Much the same, except the bartender has a brain in her head.
oh my, what a comparison: not even close: The president of our country has been, for years the president of a very large company; the new congresswoman has been the leader of nothing and certainly has a brain but isn't using it much.
Does anyone really give a crap? He paid people to make sure he paid as little as legally possible. He’s a billionaire the IRS probably audits him annually if he evaded taxes we would know. The people calling for his tax returns just want it to hammer him with it politically like they did to Romney.
The point IS that IF she was (is) so darn smart with her double major from BU & graduated C*m Laude, why was she still bartending 7 years after graduating from college?
Not smart enough on paper to get an interview or smart/presentable enough during interviews to get a job in her field?
You don't have to tell me about about waiting tables or bartending. Both my husband and I have BTDT, but during college, not for 7 years after & until getting auditioned for a role as a congressional rep. in a district where if a non-white person ran and promised "free s**t for all"...total shoe-in.
You're missing the point. You are still looking down your nose at bartending as though it's a bad thing.
Apparently AOC initially took bartending jobs in the Bronx to support her mother and family after her father died, and worked in Community service and set up a publishing house for the Bronx.
Who knows why she stayed in bartending? - maybe she enjoyed it. Maybe she did that while she found the direction she wanted to take?
Many people don't blossom until later in life.
I know I didn't.
Basically you guys are looking for ANY reason, no matter how petty to bring the Dems down. Why dont you try to be objective for once in your lives? Maybe she had issues to deal with in her life.
Not everyone walks straight into their dream job.
It's happening to my niece right now. She was an exceptional student all through high school and Uni but is finding it hard to find a high paid job, so she's temporarily teaching Engish to Spanish kids. She hates it but it's a means to an end while she finds something else.
It's got nothing to do with 'not being smart enough'. It's just circumstances. And pretty insulting to those who work in lower paid jobs to make ends meet. And you are trying to insinuate that she can't possibly be 'smart' because of it. It's just garbage.
Does anyone really give a crap? He paid people to make sure he paid as little as legally possible. He’s a billionaire the IRS probably audits him annually if he evaded taxes we would know. The people calling for his tax returns just want it to hammer him with it politically like they did to Romney.
Who are these two? Are these the new Fox News experts? Please don't tell me they're a regular feature.
I'm laughing, but feel like I should be crying.
