One thing you can bet on, if Trump had made money during that period, and had paid taxes, like the rest of us, he would be plastering his tax returns all over the place and bragging bigly about how rich he was. The fact he is fighting tooth and nail to keep people from seeing them tells me he is A) Embarrassed because they will show he is lying about his wealth and money making ability, and B) He is hiding how dishonest he was in his reporting.

Those returns are his albatross.

Time to put longtime Trump family accountant Allen Weaselberg on the hot seat.

All this fraud we have read about was from 20+ years ago. My guess is he is still at it.

So, tRump went broke bigly, trying to sell gambling, steaks, and vodka to Americans.

That's not easy to do.

A billion dollars? And then claim to be successful?

Business failures of this magnitude means he probably hasn't paid taxes since then.

Apparently this info is all from Trumps book "The Art of the Comeback" from the 90's. Did anyone here read that?

A reasonable person would conclude the same; based on legal grounds, based on constitutional grounds, & based on a review of the facts & circumstances.
