Trump keeping with his theme of hiring unqualified people for positions and now we have Herman Cain, is there a shortage of economists.

Quote:
WASHINGTON — President Trump said on Thursday that he planned to nominate Herman Cain, who abandoned his 2012 presidential bid in the face of escalating accusations of sexual misconduct, for a seat on the Federal Reserve Board.
Mr. Trump, speaking from the Oval Office, called Mr. Cain, the former chief executive of Godfather’s Pizza, “a truly outstanding individual” and said, “I’ve told my folks that’s the man.”

New York Times. hahahaha

Have they ever said anything positive or truthful about Trump?

It's the President's prerogative to appoint anyone he wants.

His appointee is laughably unqualified, hence the laughter.

Herman Cain is a pathetic joke.

Trump only hires jokes or swamp creatures or flunkies who will follow his warped orders.

He hires the best people! Luckily a lot of his moronic decisions can be reversed.

Cain served as chairman of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha Branch from January 1, 1989, to December 31, 1991.[10] He became a member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1992.[10] He served as deputy chairman from January 1, 1992, to December 31, 1994, and then as its chairman until August 19, 1996,[10] when he resigned to become active in national politics.[39]

Quote:
Mr. Cain joined the board of directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1992 and served as the board’s chairman from 1995 to 1996. He had earlier served as a director of the Kansas City Fed’s Omaha, Neb., branch. Mr. Cain was chief executive of Godfather’s Pizza from 1986 until 1996, before leading the National Restaurant Association.
Mr. Cain was critical of the Fed during and after his campaign for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. He said the central bank’s rate policy “manipulates the dollar” in a 2012 column in The Wall Street Journal.

Cain is qualified.
And the NPC's sing about it. Because thats all you are doing here, is regurgitating some nonsensical party chant.

LOL. Come on, this nonsense is getting old.

If he's going to be on the federal reserve, he HAS to learn to say "with" and not "wif." I can be a grammar snob, I admit, but really, somebody in that position needs to know how to speak properly.
