LOL...so, as suspected, in the minds of the liberal/feminists/hypocrites it's not the best person for the job but whatever fits their own prejudices and biases. Wonder if a male coach can say he'd only hire men??

She should be fired or at least suspended for exposing her sexism making as would a male coach undoubtedly would for making such a stupid comment.

I know it's women's college basketball which no one really cares about or watches but still....her idiotic attempts at retribution based on her narrow mindset should no go unpunished nor be tolerated at a major university. Hopefully the NCAA will admonish her and/or donors will withhold money in protest.
How many women are coaching or assistants in men’s basketball? It was stupid of her to say she would never hire a man but she does have a point on why aren’t more women being hired to coach a women’s sport and none in men’s basketball

Well, it's always up to the parties involved.

Of course individuals on the outside looking in may alter their behavior in the marketplace to put pressure on parties inside a contract but other than that...it's just the way it goes.

She's an idiot to say she won't obey the law to not discriminate against people due to their sex in job hiring.

She is in violation of the university's policies, and EO 11246 which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, which as an entity that receives millions of dollars in US government funds, is obligated to abide by. Also in violation of the CRA, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex.

I think we all know the answer to that - simple fact is, men are always better at any sport and (delude yourself all you want) are overall better leaders. And...I doubt you'd get many college level men to willingly (but grudgingly would if ordered to) want or follow a female coach in a male sport.

"When you look at men's basketball, 99 percent of the jobs go to men, why shouldn't 100 or 99 percent of the jobs in women's basketball go to women?"

I thought that too....I didn't have time to research it but I felt there must be something under Title IX or something that would cover it...thanks.

Because men are much better at sports/winning/dominating mindset and male coaches (head, asst or otherwise) can potentially raise the skill & competition level of the female athlete higher than a female coach.

Yes...really.

There's a phrase that comes to mind when dreamers like you want things to be as they fantasize vs. how they really are....what is it?? Oh...yeah: TRUTH HURTS
