If it was a similar situation where an "indigenous" child was placed with a white Christian family, our leftist friends would be yammering on about "racism" and "colonialism."

Sweden is a good example of a baizou civilization.
Why didn't they just give the father the foster money instead of paying Muslims to bring up the children.

Sweden is at times, a fairly stupid country, although Social Workers tend to be universally stupid.

This is a good question. The problem is that we don't know the full story and the article doesn't give it to us.

Making an assessment without knowing the full story shows a lack of intelligence.

I think the fact that Swedish Social Workers have been found to have broken the law, is enough information to make an assessment of the situation and does not show any lack of intelligence. You would have thought Social Workers would have least been aware of the laws relating to foster care or at the very least checked what they were doing was legal.

On Wednesday a Polish court ruled that the Swedish social services had violated an EU convention that forbids placing children in foreign cultural environments, thereby ended a forced separation of a father and his daughters who are 12, 6 and 4 years old.

I suggest the father now takes legal action against the Swedish Social Services and claims compensation.

No information has been published relative to the circumstances of this families immigration from Russia to Sweden.

Media has reported all are Russian citizens.

No information has been published as to why the children, ages 12, 6 and 4 were removed from their home other than mother has Schizophrenia and father is unemployed.

No information available as to why the court limited father’s visitation.

Father abandons sick wife/ mother of his children in Sweden and takes children to Poland for asylum.

The religion of the Lebanese foster family seems to be convenient for a claim of asylum.

European and US alt right media runs with the story based on nothing more than crumbs of Christian vs Muslim.

The family is Russian. They sought asylum in Sweden. Mother is mentally ill. Father works sporadically.

Unclear why their three daughters were placed in foster care.

But the father didn't like it, so he grabbed the kids and took off for Poland, leaving the mother behind.

This has been reported in RT, InfoWars, and the Gateway Pundit.

Hope things work out better for them in Poland.

There is not enough factual information known to form any kind of opinion.

The Russian family immigrated to Sweden. We don’t know the circumstances of that immigration or the families legal status in Sweden.

Media has reported father was unemployed and mother diagnosed with Schizophrenia. The children were removed from their state sponsored home for undisclosed reasons.

Obviously, an effort was made to keep the RUSSIAN children together, rather than parsing them out to three different foster homes. We don’t know why they were placed with a Lebanese foster family. Maybe there were no RUSSIAN families willing to accept 3 children at the time. Maybe there was no family close by willing to take in 3 foreign foster kids. Or maybe there was a screw up.

We don’t know why the courts allowed the father only limited visitation.

We now know, the RUSSIAN father abandoned his mentally ill RUSSIAN wife/ mother of his children to seek asylum in Poland with his kids and use religion as the reason.

In the meantime, looks like Sweden is stuck with the lifetime care of the Russian woman, abandoned by her immediate family.

Who knows? Maybe that was her husband’s plan all along. There is likely better care for the wife in Sweden than Russia. No information available why the children were removed from their home.

Imagine it would be a challenge to keep 3 siblings together and place them in foster care of another Russian immigrant family who also happened to observe Russian Orthodoxy.

Making this all about Christians vs Islam was a convenient way to claim asylum in Poland. The usual media seized on the headline, ignoring all other information. No shortage of people dispel with critical thinking and focus on sensational headlines.

Publishing sensational headlines with limited factual content is propaganda. People believe anything when it seems to validate their perceptions.

How is that any different than what the current US admin has been doing by separating families and children (many of whom they have now lost track of)?

In addition, we do not just do that to immigrants--we do it to people in our own society. Take away people's kids and put them into the 'system.'
