If you think applying conservative principles to this problem will solve this problem, the fact that conservative Louisiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Alaska, Mississippi and South Carolina constitute 7 of the top 10 states with the highest murder rates, indicates that conservatism will not solve the problem.

"the fact that conservative Louisiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Alaska, Mississippi and South Carolina constitute 7 of the top 10 states with the highest murder rates"

I'd bet the top 10 cities are mostly from the DEM CONTROLLED CITIES.

Maybe our new mayor, Lori Lightfoot, will have a better relationship with Trump.

Trump offered to send in help, but Rahm refused it as he hated Trump.

Maybe things will be better.

People in the dangerous communities are afraid of the consequences of being a "snitch". so they know more than they report. Thats why criminals flourish - fear.

I just wonder how many of these shootings are drug related in some way, deals gone bad, fighting over turf, etc.

As I've pointed out many times, that's only because there ARE NO large conservative-controlled cities.

When EVERY large city is controlled by democrats, large cities with high murder rates are going to be democrat-controlled. And large cities with low murder rates are going to be democrat-controlled.

While SD's current mayor is a republican, 6 o 9 city council members are democrats:

And has had several Democrat Mayors over the last couple of years. Unless you actually believe San Diego was a hellhole during the periods when those Mayors served.

Also, San Diego County went for Hillary in 2016 by 56% to 38%:

So once again, I repeat: Like other California big cities, San Diego is pretty liberal.

Looks like it.
