Gillette is expanding their advertising base after losing a large market share for participating in the war against men.

Gillette is missing out on the "One Time Use Market" bigtime!

"Are you depressed and tired of being used and abused by the world?"

"Make Gillette the last thought you will ever have!"

"If you're going to cut your wrists, go out first class with Gillette!"

"Remember ...cut along the length of your vein!" "Cutting across the vein is for amateurs!"

Gillette ...for the Final Cut!

The More You Know!

Notice that Gillette demands higher standards from men, yet lowers them for wammen. A reflection of society at large?

I wonder if they expend it by putting the transmission shifter into reverse?

I wonder if South Park had predicted it, well , sort of?

Gillette's having a laugh at all of this.

Out of all the plus sized women and models in the world, they picked one of the more extreme examples of a (morbidly) obese woman and in a very unflattering outfit and pose. It's almost like they did this on purpose just to get their jollies in riling up people and getting any publicity good or bad.

There are many companies out there that have started to cater to plus sized women, that make flattering clothes and feature overweight women but with respect (Premme, Isolated Heroes, etc.).

Gillette is trolling all of us, and it's too bad many don't get this.

I cannot un-see that image, which is offensive in itself. Look, I'll be the first to stand up for companies hiring plus sized models for clothing, etc. After all, even though we shouldn't celebrate obesity, the fact remains that there are obese women who have to wear clothes. Thus, showing such individuals how certain outfits look on people of a similar waistline is very reasonable. But the same logic doesn't apply for razors and shaving. A razor is going to do the same job on you whether you're slim or obese. This ad looks like pure celebration of obesity, which is a shame.

I've already decide to discontinue using Gilette products...but this helps confirm my decision.

Obese women and obese men for that matter, should address their weight....razors aren't their biggest concern.
