No he didn't. A poor excuse for justifying a president, the chief law enforcer of the nation, abdicating his duties.

I was listening to the Progressive Sirius channel to get a handle on what the crazies are thinking. There's a doofus named Thom Hartmann who's usually way out in left field and making an ass of himself with his idiotic commentary and political analysis. He was in rare form yesterday, accusing Trump of manufacturing the crisis at the border by not letting in all the refugees coming across and calling them illegals.

Reminiscent of Trump advising Law Enforcement Officers of rough treatment of prisoners.

Commanding officers straightened that out quick enough.

Unbelievable. Trump tells border guards ignore the law. Counselling a crime in other words.
Absolutely no respect for the law.

Obama set the precedent. You don’t have to enforce laws you don’t like.

So no proof at all that Trump did any of this.

When will the Trump deranged learn their lesson. Maybe they are still believing the Russian bogyman is still out there too.

What is with this guy? Who does he think he is that he not only thinks HE can ignore the law, but that he counsels others to do so.

https://thehill.com/latino/437914-tr...igrants-report

"When the agents later asked their commanding officers about the remarks, their superiors said policy was to obey the law and that they would face personal liability if they complied with Trump's orders, according to the network."

The man is a loose cannon who has no idea what it takes to be a true leader of a democracy. He knows how to be a bully, but not a leader.

Read the article. It is frightening that he wanted children separated from their families, and Nielsen had to remind him that he had signed an executive order stopping the practice, remind him numerous times.

Unbelievable, and yet, there are a whole ton of people on here who think counselling to break the law is just dandy.
The Hill.com Latino?

OP who's side are you on?

All those seeking asylum I would incarcerate in tent cities indefinitely until their cases are decided. And I would put Joe Arpaio in charge of them.

Seems we have volunteers to head up DHS, accompanied by an odd sprinkling of "Obama did it too."

Alas, this thread is about Trump telling border agents to break the law.

Trump is obviously trying to create chaos and confusion to whip up with his base. Whether he is successful or not with these folks remains to be seen.

Everyone else is on to his game.
