I do believe there is some warming since 1975. I also believe all of the doom predictions will fail just like the ones from ca year 2000 for now that have not come to pass.

You apparently think a tiny portion of the US represents some sort of trend for the entire globe which is nonsense!

And, if you'd ever actually read what scientists predict you'd know they predicted more extreme weather events. Kinda sounds like what you're reporting here, eh?

It's cold up north, there is no global warming.

Pretty much settles that argument for the right wing.

If one flower blooms in the desert, is it no longer a desert?

No, the Plains aren't going to get a dust bowl this year.
Or is it 1933 in Germany meaning political climate?

TDS is rampant today ...

It appears you didn't even notice that your own chart shows:

1. Average temps are indeed going up.
2. Those rising average temps are within the range predicted by scientists. They're just at the low end of the range.

One system or event does not define global warming or lack of it..

What everyone never talks about in regards to weather change and climate change is how much agriculture and urbanization change it.. Before people spread all over.. Many fields were wild prairies with long grasses and trees. Now they are bare ground in the winter and have a crop all over in the summer. This changes the area!

Another is the amount of concrete and asphalt put down.. There are urban heat islands. This is a proven fact. We have them all over. These retain heat more.. Again its never this talk its all only based on emissions and carbon and then people denying it all...

Come at me I have an extensive background in weather

What the hell does a blizzard in April have to do with climate change?

7th grade Earth science is apparently outside the grasp of a lot of people in this thread, including OP.

Mother Nature is laughing at AOC. Whenever they start on big diatribes on "global warming" there seems to be a big blizzard or spate of artic cold that moves in.

Seems like they had once in a generation record cold that came in while they were rolling out there silly "green new deal".

The blizzards and cold keep coming and coming also. It's like the winter that doesn't end.

Wish global warming was happening very fast, so I could move to a state with an awesome quality of life like Wyoming or North Dakota.

Sadly, based on this last winter with cold weather records being set over large areas of the country that it was just wishful thinking.
